Weekend Overview
Saturday – 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM – Coaching Seminars
New this year, the summit will be held in a retreat-style format. Our focus will be on small-group collaboration to help your teams thrive. The Saturday group sessions will cover core principles for working with student-athletes within the Tennessee League. These discussions are designed to provide both foundational and in-depth knowledge for Head Coaches, Team Directors, and Assistant Coaches to incorporate into their programs. Both new and experienced coaches will benefit from this informative day.
Sunday 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM – OTB Skills Clinic
The On-the-Bike 101 and 201 Skills Clinic for coaches is designed to teach the progressive steps needed to instruct both basic and advanced mountain biking skills. The curriculum focuses on a controlled environment to better prepare student-athletes for the trail. Participants will also explore experiential teaching methods, strategies for accommodating various learning styles, and ways to foster a positive environment for young riders. Please note that this clinic will be held outdoors. Plan to bring your bicycle along with appropriate riding and safety gear for the expected weather conditions.
